Who is responsible
RK Parisi Enterprises ("we") operates OpalSketch. This policy explains what personal information the Service handles and why. For information that a business customer enters about its own clients, that business decides how the information is used and we process it on the business's behalf. [Counsel to confirm controller and processor roles and whether a data processing agreement is needed.]
Information we handle
- Account information: name, email address and sign-in details you provide, or that a sign-in provider you choose shares with us.
- Workspace content: projects, designs, notes, contacts, product selections, quotes, invoices, messages, files and settings you or your team add. This can include personal information about your clients.
- Designs saved in your browser: the designer keeps your current plan and preferences in your browser's local storage so your work is there when you return. This stays on your device unless you sign in and sync it.
- Technical information: basic log and device information, such as browser type and error reports, used to keep the Service working.
How we use it
- To provide, secure and support the Service, including saving and syncing your work and showing it to the clients and teammates you choose.
- To communicate with you about your account, changes to the Service and support requests.
- To improve reliability and usability, using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information. The Service does not currently use your content to train AI models. If that changes we will tell you first and ask where the law requires.
Cookies and local storage
We use local storage for functions you ask for, such as remembering your design, workspace settings and display preferences. We do not use it for advertising. [Add any analytics or cookie banner details if introduced.]
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, product catalog and storefront, content delivery and font providers, and payment or sign-in providers you enable. They may process information only to provide their service.
- People you choose, such as clients you invite to view a project.
- Authorities or advisers when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor, if we are involved in a merger or sale, subject to this policy.
Retention
We keep information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal and accounting needs. Workspace owners can delete projects and contacts in the product. [Specific retention periods to be completed.]
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information through the product or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as objecting to or restricting processing, or complaining to a regulator. If you are a client of one of our business customers, contact that business first.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us if you suspect a problem.
Children
The Service is for business and adult use and is not directed to children under 13 [or 16, where required].
International use
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. [Counsel to confirm transfer mechanisms.]
Changes and contact
We will post changes here and, if material, notify you. Contact: [privacy contact email], [mailing address].
